Meet Our Senior Pastor
Jermaine “Pastor J” Smith
A native of Tampa, FL., Pastor Jermaine “PastorJ” is from a large Southern Family for which love, food, and family is everything! Known for his saying “every round must go higher and higher”, Jermaine’s educational and professional achievements are rooted in this personal philosophy and in God. Despite these successes, Jermaine’s true passion lies in leading people to Christ. This, and this alone is what fuels his life. Expect to see him connecting with people and sealing the friendship with Food! Jermaine has served The Church from the front doors to the back offices, and believes that his service to people is his worship to God. Jermaine is a proud father of 4 Children and married to his stunning wife Jamina for 16 years!
Meet Our First Lady
Jamina “Lady J” Smith
Jamina Smith is from Des. Moines, Iowa. She is a “Midwestern Girl” at heart and shows it through her hospitality and kindness. Jamina comes from a lineage of Pastors, served in various capacities within the church, and understands and believes that no matter what she is doing, it is in service to God. Jamina loves to connect with people through culture and it is one of her greatest joys in Life.
Kara
Treasurer & Secretary
Kara has a passion for people and specializes in igniting and unlocking their potential. Creativity, culture, and connection inspire her, and she is driven to encourage and emphasize the goodness of God. Her husband Andre and their 4 children are the highlight of her life.
Theresita
Vice President
Theresita loves God and serves people through her pursuit to advance equity and justice for various communities. She is passionate about humanity and possibility and is driven to create meaningful experiences that shift the dynamic enabling an organization to connect with the people that it serves. She is married to her partner of 18 years (Frank) and has three children.
Arek
Parliamentarian
Arek loves God and has a passion for seeing the body of believers reflect the ethnic diversity of the world around us. While he skillfully negotiates various legal transactions by day, his true desire is that people come to know Christ in a very real way. He lives in Bellevue with his wife and two children.
Regina
Executive Board Member
Regina’s commitment to impact lives has been a vital part of her success in both corporate and non-profit organizations. Having served in many capacities in ministry, she understands what it takes to move church business forward, and is committed to helping church leaders create environments that will enable people to thrive in their Christian Faith.
Gordon
Executive Board Member
Gordon’s career in technology has taken him all around the world, but nothing supersedes his passion for ministry and supporting the local church. He is a “down- to-earth” kind of guy who is enthusiastic about family. Gordon has been married for 16 years to his wife Stacy and has three children.
Chericka
Executive Board Member
Chericka’s career is in Global Ministry and she is devoted to helping people connect further with the local church. Her expertise in strategy, business development, and leadership are just a few giftings that she lends to Live Life Church to further the kingdom of God. Chericka has been married to her amazing husband Ron for seven years.
